In Uzbekistan, legal entities were given the opportunity to mine using solar energy

Legal entities in Uzbekistan got the opportunity to implement mining, subject to the use of "green" energy. So they will be able to conduct trading operations with assets on the basis of the relevant law.

"Production is realized only by a registered legal entity, which must use energy from solar panels."

The law says that the use of energy resources from a single network, bills will come in double the amount. The government also warns of additional allowances for work at peak times.

Mining of digital assets

Mining is not licensed in Uzbekistan, but this process must be registered. This activity should be carried out from the beginning of 2023. In addition, there will be an opportunity for trading and exchange procedures exclusively with the help of state platforms.

Law enforcement agencies have recently noted an increase in the number of illegal processes. Trading with coins can only be done with the help of special cryptocurrency exchanges. Additional systems used must be located on the territory of the country. Individuals have access only to the coin sale processes.

In the summer of 2021, the first solar station in Uzbekistan operating on phytoenergy was opened. It has a capacity of 100 MW, but this figure is planned to be increased to 5 GW.
